WAXING

Waxing is a method of removing unwanted hair from the root. The benefit of waxing is that new hairs will not grow back in the waxed area for up to 4-6 weeks. New hair growth in the waxed area is softand fine, and with repeated waxing, hair regrowth is much reduced.

Benefits:

long lasting results, low maintenance, great exfoliator, hair grows finer, baby soft skin, safeand gentle on the skin, hair grows slower. Hot wax is spread thickly onto the skin and allowed to dry slightly before it’s gently peeled away.

The benefits include fewer in-grown hairs, less breakage and therefore longer re-growth periods. The wax also promotes the skin hydration and is highly recommended for sensitive areas. Strip wax is recommended for thicker/less sensitive skin, for example legs, arms, back, chest and shoulders. A thin layer of wax is applied to the skin and

is then removed using a paper strip. Our hot wax can grab hairs as short as 1mm in length. Our strip wax can remove hair as short as 2mm. Everyone has different growth cycle but we are generally able to wax areas that have been shaved 7-10 days earlier. However with larger parts of the body like arms/legs, we suggest leaving it 3 weeks before waxing it. Clients that have not wax or shaved for a long period of time need not worry as our therapists will trim the hair to a suitable length for waxing. Aftercare advice will be given on completion of treatment.
